I don't know the exact definition of "nesting," but I came up with my own.
nesting present particle of nest (verb) 1. the act of a pregnant woman going crazy to prepare for the new coming baby, also known as cleaning, scrubbing, throwing away, organizing STUFF!
So after I have discovered that I am actually nesting, I start freaking out (just a little) to Justin about how much STUFF we have! "I think we should immediately get rid of the couches, the guest bed, the dogs...."--my rant goes on for a while..."because we have to make room for this baby." We live in a 3 bedroom, 2 bath house with a large (enough) living room & big kitchen...in other words, we have plenty of space for the baby & for him to have his own room! But I am telling you...this nesting thing is serious...it makes you rethink every inch of every room. I started looking in every kitchen cabinet wondering where we were going to put bottles & baby plates (for later) & came up with nothing, so I start questioning the need for every pot and pan & appliance in the kitchen!
OK, PUMP THE BRAKES (as Justin likes to say ;) )---before you read any further...I am not in any way crazy or OCD. I just want to clear that up real quick.
So after picking my whole house apart, one piece of furniture at a time, I would like to proudly say that I reduced my blood pressure a bit. After a frantic trip to Target to get a few baskets, I have made room for most of the baby stuff.

DO NOT underestimate the power of "nesting!" :)
